ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs a variety of routine and complex procedures using established criteria to provide quality clinical information.
  • Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity, and linearity for test methods.
  • Operates, calibrates, checks, maintains instrumentation and recognizes and communicates with a certified medical technologist if there are any problems with quality controls.
  • Performs test order entry accurately and efficiently to ensure proper testing and charges of patient accounts.
  • Participates in medical technology learning models or technical development modules to ensure growth and development of the laboratory.
  • Provides support such as answering telephones, faxing reports and reporting stat and critical value results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
EXPERIENCE

Required Preferred Experience in clinical laboratory.
