Job summary

MadTree Brewing Co. is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager in Blue Ash, OH. This role supports the Kitchen Manager, leads a team, and helps manage invoices, scheduling, hiring, and inventory while living up to our values of warmth, craft, and community.

You’ll guide a team across the kitchen, collaborate with other departments, and participate in ongoing development. The compensation range and benefits reflect our commitment to growth and impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education preferred.
• 2+ years of kitchen leadership, inventory management, training, and development (with teams 20+) in a high-volume ($5M+) restaurant required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to foster a positive, values-driven culture.
• Develop team through coaching, training, and clear career pathing.
• Collaborate with FOH, Events, and bar teams for unified service.
• Act as PIC during shifts; supervise food prep, cooking techniques, and quality.
• Train, coach, and develop team members; maintain standards.
• Monitor food quality, guest feedback, and seasonal menu changes.
