Sous Chef - Scottsdale

Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Food Preparation: Responsibility for plating, cooking and the presentation of food using established recipes and guidelines.
2. Inventory: Conducts weekly inventory and works with head chef in ordering.
3. System Management: Handles data entry and management systems including ordering, inventory, scheduling, and using computer systems to execute tasks and manage food and labor costs.
4. Team Performance: Assists with the hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, providing performance management and team member discipline.
5. Kitchen: Ensures proper maintenance, operations and usage of kitchen equipment. Maintains high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, walk-in and freezer areas.
6. Safety: Enforces health and safety standards.

Must have the following qualifications:

1. Must obtain Title 4 Certification and Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire.
2. Must be 18 years of age or older.
3. Must have reliable transportation.
4. Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools.
6. 1 year minimum experience as a sous chef.
7. Strong organization, planning, communication and time management skills.
