This position supports back-of-house team members and Kitchen Managers by maintaining restaurant kitchen standards and achieving quality daily. The ideal candidate is a leader with a coaching attitude, eager to help the restaurant management team and staff run efficient operations.

Position Details
  • Maintain high employment standards consistent with Bloomin' Brands policies
  • Assist in kitchen setup for opening crew
  • Check schedule for incoming team members
  • Adhere to and coach on security procedures
  • Evaluate previous night's close
  • Review daily inventory
  • Prepare to receive orders
  • Track shelf-life adherence
  • Check temperatures of freezer, dish machine, and refrigeration units before prepping
  • Learn flavor profiles and menu specifications
  • Follow recipe cards precisely
  • Review sanitation checklists and conduct inspections
  • Conduct daily health inspections
  • Adhere to sanitation, temperature, and food safety standards
  • Manage ticket flow and cook times for efficiency
Minimum Requirements
  • Certified trainer in back-of-house functions
  • Passing grade in assessment testing
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum age of 21
Preferred Requirements
  • Previous restaurant industry experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Proficiency in all back-of-house functions
