Job summary

TOTO USA in Morrow, GA is seeking an Assistant Kiln Supervisor to support the Kiln Supervisor in day-to-day kiln and firing operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in production.

This role provides frontline guidance to Kiln/Firing staff, coordinates with maintenance, and helps drive continuous improvement and progression toward a formal supervisory position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum of two years in manufacturing, kiln/firing, or related production experience.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Work in an industrial environment with PPE; no travel is expected.
• Positions may require after-hours or multi-shift support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day kiln and firing operations to meet schedules.
• Support staffing, equipment, materials, and resource coordination.
• Monitor kiln conditions, firing performance, product quality, and resolve issues.
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of kilns and related equipment.
• Manage inventory and spare parts for continuous kiln operations.
• Contribute to process improvement using standard work and lean practices.
• Share information across shifts and with leadership to ensure continuity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality and ISO requirements.
