Job summary

CMTA, Inc. in New York, NY is looking for an organized intern to provide administrative and project support across our New York operations. This on-site, part-time role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and offers exposure to a national MEP/FP engineering practice.

You will format documents, take notes, maintain trackers, and support proposals, marketing, and cross-office coordination. Must be an undergraduate student with strong Microsoft 365 skills and discretion.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program; junior or senior standing preferred.
• Coursework in Business Administration, Construction Management, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through on multiple concurrent requests.
• Sound judgment and reliability with sensitive information.
• Able to work on-site in Midtown Manhattan on a consistent weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

About the Role

CMTA is seeking an organized, detail-oriented intern to provide administrative and project support across our New York operations. This role works alongside multiple teams — operations, marketing, business development, and project delivery — and offers direct exposure to how a national MEP/FP engineering practice runs day to day. It's a strong fit for a student who is dependable, discreet, and comfortable taking initiative with limited direction.
