Job summary

CID Design Group seeks an Assistant Interior Designer to support project teams with coordinated documentation, design support, and customized FF&E solutions. You will help prepare drawings, assist with space planning, and coordinate with vendors to gather samples and specifications.

Joining CID means contributing to a thirty-nine-state portfolio with multifamily, hospitality, and commercial projects, while collaborating across design studios and procurement teams to deliver polished

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in multi-family, commercial, or hospitality sectors is a plus.
• Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills; proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Revit/AutoCAD drawings for schematic design and construction documents.
• Assist with space planning and layout development.
• Support FF&E team during group and solo installations—local and remote.
• Research, coordinate, and specify products, materials, and design features.
• Communicate with vendors for product availability and pricing; manage samples.
• Enter specifications into finalized schematic documents.
• Assist in lighting fixture selection and coordination.
• Attend project meetings to provide design and documentation support.
• Create and organize electronic project files and sample bins.
• Contribute to CA efforts, including RFPs, RFIs, shop drawings, and documentation.
• Assist with materials, finishes, and product/vendor research and selections.
• Maintain organization of design studio and assist with FFE presentations.
