Job summary

The Malvern School of Washington Township is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Infant classroom. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, to join a team dedicated to high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities include supporting an engaging curriculum, maintaining a safe classroom, and communicating with parents to meet expectations. A high school diploma and state-allowed coursework or hours are required; ongoing training and professional development are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

• Assist in implementing a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
