Job summary

Celebree School is seeking an Assistant Infant Teacher to foster a nurturing, stimulating learning environment for preschool children. You will help implement engaging activities and support classroom aides toward becoming Celebree teachers.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, full-time. This role emphasizes growth, development, and alignment with Celebree's mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; CDA or higher preferred.
• Minimum of two years in Early Childhood Education.
• Know-how of child development and licensing regulations.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and problem-solving skills; patient and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where preschoolers learn through play.
• Integrate language activities, storytelling, and early literacy into routines.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization and safety.
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress.

Responsibilities

As an Infant Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:

• Assist in developing and implementing creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschool-aged children.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.
• Assist in integrating language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to help children develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials, equipment, and play areas, to support optimal learning and exploration.
• Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required; a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in Early Childhood Education.
• In-depth understanding of child development and behavior, as well as familiarity with childcare licensing regulations, is essential.
• Must possess strong classroom management abilities, including excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Patience and flexibility are also key attributes for success in this role. Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
