The Goddard School is seeking a motivated Assistant Teacher in Columbus, OH. You will support the Lead Teacher, help implement engaging lesson plans and provide a safe, welcoming classroom environment for young learners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Works productively without supervision.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in handling children.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

• Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean learning environment.

• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations.
• Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.
