Job summary

The Gardner School of Edina is hiring an Assistant Infant & Preschool Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate curriculum for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. The role emphasizes nurturing guidance, teamwork, and a safe, hygienic classroom environment.

Requirements include Minnesota licensing, a high school diploma with credits, CPR/First Aid certification, and 1+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must meet Minnesota licensing requirements for Assistant Teacher.
• High school diploma with 12 quarter credits (required); CDA or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• 1+ years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
