Job summary

The Gardner School of Edina is hiring an Assistant Infant & Preschool Teacher to join a state-of-the-art preschool where learning begins with love and children come first. You’ll support the Lead Teacher, implement age-appropriate curriculum, and foster a safe, joyful classroom environment.

Eligible candidates meet Minnesota licensing requirements, have a high school diploma or higher (CDA or Bachelor's preferred), and hold CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Minnesota licensing requirements for Assistant Teacher.
• High school diploma with 12 quarter credits (required); CDA or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• 1+ years of experience with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Offer nurturing guidance that supports emotional and behavioral development.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom by supporting routines, hygiene, and sanitation.
• Collaborate with teaching team members and school leaders to ensure consistency across classrooms.
