An established industry player is seeking an Assistant-In-Training to support the Golf Course Superintendent and management team. The Assistant-In-Training will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, and other members of the club management team in planning and executing all daily tasks and monitoring of course conditions. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, course set-up, crew management, plant protectant sprays and fertilization, water management, weed control and native area management, and irrigation troubleshooting and repair.
French Creek Golf Club is a private 18-hole golf course designed by Gil Hanse that opened for play in 2003. The course sits on 230 scenic acres in Chester County, about an hour west of Philadelphia. The club hosts around 20,000 rounds per year providing a relaxed atmosphere for members and their guests.
