Position Overview:
The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent in Training (AIT) is an entry-level management position for individuals pursuing a career in golf course maintenance and turfgrass management. This role provides hands-on experience and structured development under the guidance of the Director of Agronomy. The AIT position will serve a crucial role in the Golf Course Maintenance Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily golf course maintenance, including mowing, fertilizing, irrigation, and pesticide applications.
• Supervise and train maintenance staff in best practices and safety procedures.
• Help coordinate daily job assignments and monitor crew performance.
• Learn and assist with irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Support special projects, renovations, and course improvements.
• Ensure course conditioning meets club and member expectations.
