Badger Meter, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Hydrovac Operator to assist with excavation using high-pressure water and vacuum systems. You will dig precisely, uncover utilities, and support construction projects while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

The role offers $20.00 per hour and up, with many opportunities for pay increases and career advancement based on experience and performance. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Capable of lifting, pushing and pulling 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydrovac equipment using high-pressure water and vacuum to dig precisely and efficiently.
• Uncover utilities and support construction projects.
• Maintain safety and accuracy in excavation operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Driver’s License
• CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection and OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
• Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%
• Must be able to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds and have the physical stamina for manual labor in varying weather conditions
• Prior hydrovac equipment operation or related industrial experience (preferred)
