Job summary

Fripp Island Golf Club & Resort is hiring an Assistant Houseman to support Food & Beverage receiving, inventory, island distribution, and banquet setup on Fripp Island in South Carolina. This hourly, full-time role acts as the second‑in‑command to the Head Houseman, coordinating daily assignments and ensuring accurate inventory and smooth banquet operations.

The position emphasizes on-site work with training opportunities, teamwork, and customer‑service excellence to deliver outstanding

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership and customer-service expertise in hospitality.
Strong teamwork and communication to train and guide staff.
Proficient in English with excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience with restaurant POS systems and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

Assist Head Houseman with daily receiving, stocking, and distribution.
Verify deliveries, manage inventory transactions, and ensure banquet setup accuracy.
Lead or support banquet setup/breakdown per BEOs and timelines.
Provide hands-on training to Housemen and escalate issues when needed.
Operate resort vehicles and equipment safely and in accordance with procedures.
