Fairfield Inn & Suites Whitewater is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to support our housekeeping team and uphold the high standards guests expect.

This role offers a hands-on leadership path for a strong housekeeper ready to advance while continuing to work alongside the team, with weekend and holiday availability as needed.

You will help inspect rooms, assign daily priorities, train staff, coordinate with other departments, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred.
• Leadership experience is a plus, but we’re willing to develop the right person.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done.
• Dependable, organized, and able to keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a team.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the housekeeping team.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality.
• Assist with daily room assignments and priorities.
• Train and support new and existing staff.
• Coordinate with other departments and manage supplies.
• Maintain brand, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Step in to lead the department when the Housekeeping Supervisor is unavailable.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment.
