Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping operations across our portfolio. You will schedule room and cleaning assignments, supervise staff, and ensure brand standards are met while delivering exceptional guest service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of housekeeping leadership experience, strong communication and time management skills, and a proven ability to coach teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED. Post high school education preferred
• Minimum of 2 years inhousekeeping leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage
• Performs housekeeping duties including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms during the shift
• Inspects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness and brand standards
• Coaches, counsels, and provides corrective action to housekeeping staff
• Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs needed
• Interviews, hires, develops, and disciplines direct employees
• Property walk and report identified deficiencies
• Schedules employees to meet business demands and tracks time and attendance
• Supervises staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives
• Manages housekeeping inventory and tools
• Other duties as assigned
