Job summary

Mystic Lake Casino Hotel seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead our hotel housekeeping operations. This role requires strong training and coaching abilities for large teams, prioritization of tasks, and adherence to inventory controls in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Training and coaching experience with large teams.
• Minimum of three years in hotel/hospitality management or related education/experience.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects; experience analyzing data to improve operations.
• Experience in high-volume hotel operations; proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, databases and email tools.

A Day in the Role:Assists Executive Housekeeping Manager in managing 24/7 Hotel Housekeeping operations. Applies high guest service standards and ensures cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure room quality and standards are met. This position is part of the Hotel Housekeeping leadership team and is expected to deliver and ensure an exceptional team member experience by consistently exemplifying the Gaming Enterprise’s Purpose, Vision, and Values.

Preferred Experience:

• Any combination of education and and/or hotel or hospitality management experience to equal a minimum of three years. Minimum of one year of supervisory or management experience preferred.


• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with a diverse group of people.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and to prioritize and organize multiple projects.


• Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and act upon operational and financial data to improve operations.
