Job summary

Hyatt Regency Morristown at Headquarters Plaza is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping operations, including public areas and night cleaning. The role focuses on safety, security, and pars management, with emphasis on VIP needs and guest satisfaction.

The position reports to the Housekeeping Manager and requires strong attention to detail, leadership, and communication skills to coordinate with guests and other departments.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience

• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
• Must have valid Driver's License
• Must be able to provide full availability including evenings, weekends and holidays<br/>

Responsibilities

• Promote an atmosphere that ensures customer and associate satisfaction.
• Reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager.

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the entire housekeeping area, to include public areas and night cleaning. This requires a solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars and will assure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed. Experience with turndown service, special needs of VIP Guests, foreign dignitaries, etc. is helpful. These responsibilities may also include staff training, development and scheduling. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will promote an atmosphere that insures customer and associate satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager and requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.
