Job summary

Trinity Woods Catholic Retreat Center in Trego, WI is seeking a friendly Assistant Housekeeper to join our on-site team. This part-time role keeps guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms clean, comfortable, and well presented to support a welcoming retreat experience.

You will change linens, handle laundry, restock supplies, and assist with room setups for retreats and camps, collaborating with the housekeeping and retreat teams to uphold our hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with a respectful approach to guests, staff, and volunteers.
• Good organization and time management, including keeping up with room turnovers and supplies.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as retreats and camps require.

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds during shifts.

About the Role

The Assistant Housekeeper is a part-time, on-site position in Trego, WI. You will help keep our guest facilities clean, comfortable, and well presented. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Cleaning guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms
• Changing linens and handling laundry
• Keeping housekeeping supplies stocked and organized
• Assisting with room setups for retreats and camps
• Reporting maintenance needs and helping maintain a safe, orderly environment in lodging and meeting spaces
• Greeting guests and staff courteously and responding to basic requests

You will work closely with the housekeeping and retreat center teams to uphold our high standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
