Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Highway Maintenance Coordinator, Roadway Programs Coordinator, or Transportation Construction Manager 1 (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Six years of technical experience in highway maintenance, highway construction, or maintenance of heavy equipment used in highway construction projects
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

This position supports maintenance operations within an assigned area of Northumberland County, including planning, supervising crews, and coordinating daily activities. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Dual shifts are in effect from November through March.
• Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position
• Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $69,086.00 (before taxes)

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of experience as a Highway Maintenance Coordinator, Roadway Programs Coordinator, or Transportation Construction Manager 1 (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• Six years of technical experience in highway maintenance, highway construction, or maintenance of heavy equipment used in highway construction projects; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirement:

• All positions require possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
