Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility. In this role, you will support the Dietary Manager in overseeing food-service operations while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Your responsibilities will include managing staff, scheduling, maintaining safety standards, and processing dietary records. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, healthcare food service experience, and a High School Diploma.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in healthcare food service or a supervisory role is highly desired.
• Intermediate computer skills and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with legislation and regulations influencing healthcare food-service standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating staff.
• Help develop and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Ensure food is prepared according to standardized recipes.
• Oversee the safe receiving, storage, and preparation of food.
• Process new diet orders and changes, keeping dietary records updated.
