Flynn Group’s Flynn Fitness club is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee club operations, guarantee a positive member experience, and help maintain financial stability. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a high-energy team in the Judgement Free Zone environment.

You will monitor staff, greet members, handle member service submissions, assist with hiring and scheduling, and ensure the facility is clean and well-presented.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills demonstrated by interacting with customers, coworkers and the public.

• Ability to analyze information, identify issues and develop action plans.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational support to General Manager through team development and analysis of key business metrics.
• Exhibit schedule flexibility to cover shifts as needed.
• Monitor staff to ensure high level of service and assist with difficulties.
• Greet members and conduct club tours to drive business.
• Respond to member service submissions in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure proper opening and closing of the club.
• Maintain staff knowledge of promotions, initiatives and policies.
• Support scheduling to meet payroll and KPI goals.
• Keep gym and equipment clean; ensure area is well maintained.
• Lead change-management as new systems/processes are introduced.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, inventory and scorecard updates.
