Job summary

Family Service Association - Fall River is seeking a part-time childcare aide for after-school and summer programs. The role offers a $500 signing bonus and an hourly rate of $16.50, with 12.5 hours weekly during the school year and up to 35 hours in summer weeks.

You will supervise children, implement daily activities, assist in planning events, and ensure safety and orderly daily operations while maintaining equipment and reporting incidents as needed. CORI/SORI checks required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old and work under supervision.
• Must pass CORI/SORI background checks.
• HS diploma or current HS enrollment required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times.
• Implement planned daily activities.
• Assist Group Leader in planning and scheduling events.
• Assist in daily site setup and takedown.
• Maintain daycare equipment and property.
• Report significant behaviors to Group Leader.
• Report injuries immediately and fill accident reports.
• Work with staff to complete goal sheets and charts.
• Perform Transportation Monitor duties as scheduled.
• Maintain professional conduct at all times.

Job Summary

FSA is offering a $500 signing bonus. The hourly rate is $16.50. Positions are part‑time (12.5 hours per week) Monday‑Friday 2:00 or 3 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., and up to 35 hours per week in summer and vacation weeks (based on FRPS & program needs).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervision of children at all times.
• Implement planned daily activities.
• Assist the Group Leader in planning and scheduling events.
• Assist in daily site setup and take down.
• Maintain equipment and daycare property.
• Report significant behaviors to the Group Leader.
• Report any injuries immediately and fill out accident reports on that day.
• Work cooperatively with other staffing to fill out goal sheets and charts.
• Conduct Transportation Monitor duties as scheduled.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.

Experience Required

• Must be at least 16 years of age and work under the direct supervision of a Group Leader.
• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, or be currently enrolled in a high school program, or be at least 18 years of age or older and work under the general supervision of the Group Leader.

Must be able to successfully pass a CORI/SORI and fingerprint background check.
