Job summary

A community support organization in Toms River, NJ is seeking a dedicated individual to assist in the daily operations of a community residence for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include teaching life skills and managing individual plans. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, a valid NJ Driver's License, and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation range of $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Base Pay

• Assist the manager with the day-to-day operation of the community residence supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Teach life skills and guide the personal and social development of the individuals in the home.
• Write and manage individual habilitation plans for each resident.
• Maintain staff schedules and assist the manager with scheduling staff for trainings.
• Work evenings and weekends as required.

Requirements

• Valid NJ Driver's License with no more than 5 points.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with a developmental disability population.
• Previous experience working in a group home setting.
