Kimberton Whole Foods in Wyomissing is seeking a career-minded, full-time Assistant Grocery Department Head!

Availability: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Schedule:

• Tuesday 7am-3:30pm
• Wednesday 6am-2:30pm
• Thursday 7am-3:30pm
• Friday 6am-2:30pm
• Saturday 12pm-8:30pm

Hourly Pay: $19.00-23.00 to start.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining fully stocked shelves following KWF SOPs.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and follow merchandising best practices.
• Perform inventory management functions accurately.
• Maintain accurate product signage throughout the department.
• Collaborate with the Department Head & Store Manager to monitor sales performance.
• Participate in Manager on Duty shifts as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Team & Leadership:

• Participate in hiring, evaluating, training, coaching, and developing staff with the GDH.
• Uphold store standards for appearance, energy, quality, and cleanliness.
• Attend scheduled management and departmental meetings.
• Foster team development and cohesion through servant leadership.

Requirements:

Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to see, hear, and smell for quality control and communication.
• Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects up to 50-75 pounds.
• Stooping, squatting, kneeling to pick up items.
• Walking short distances and prolonged standing.
• Work in cold environments like coolers and freezers.
