Job summary

Lake Padden Golf Course in Bellingham, WA is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to assist in daily golf operations, provide exceptional guest service, manage merchandise, and operate the POS system. This full-time role includes an hourly salary of $24–$28 with 80/20 lesson commissions and merchandising commissions, plus other incentives.

Responsibilities include overseeing the shop, outside service staff, tee-time scheduling, and events coordination.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team.

• Knowledge of golf tournament operations and event management.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong interpersonal skills with members, guests, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in golf instruction techniques and equipment fitting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shop, practice areas, and golf carts.
• Operate golf cart fleet efficiently and safely, ensuring adherence to course policies and procedures.
• Schedule tee time reservations and manage changes to schedule.
• Support the management of golf events, tournaments, and leagues, including organization, set, scoring, and coordination of logistics.
• Provide support to the General Manager and other staff members as needed to ensure smooth operations of the facility.
