Job summary

The Park in West Palm Beach, FL is hiring an Assistant Golf Professional to be a visible, welcoming presence in the golf operation. You will support the Head Golf Professional and Coach players while driving a fun, inclusive experience for local golfers and guests.

The role requires PGA/LPGA membership or active status, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and 2–3 years of relevant work. You’ll work with tee sheet software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office, with competitive hourly pay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of experience preferred.
• PGA/LPGA member or associate.
• Experience with tee sheet software, POS systems & Microsoft Office.
• Maintains a professional image within The Park and the South Florida PGA Section.
• Ambitious career goals in the golf industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf Operations in promoting a contemporary and culturally relevant golf experience connecting with the local community of golfers and non-golfers alike.
• Foster a fun, inviting on-course experience.
• Work collaboratively to encourage a positive work/life balance.
• Be highly skilled in the profession; influence others to be uniquely effective.
• Tournament Operations.
• Maintain a visible presence in The Hills area and on the golf course.
• Open/Close the Golf Shop when needed.
• Engage with the local community to showcase the fun and inclusive nature of public golf at The Park.
• Stay current on golf industry trends including technology, innovation, and staffing, and bring forth new ideas as The Park evolves.
• Provide coaching as needed determined by the Director of Coaching and Head Golf Professional.
