Job summary

Arcis Golf seeks an Assistant Golf Professional at The Golf Club at Chaparral Pines in Payson, AZ. You will support day-to-day golf operations and strive to deliver an exceptional experience for members and guests.

Responsibilities include overseeing golf operations with the Head Professional, managing tee times and pace of play, and developing tournaments, instruction, and golfer development programs. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 1 certification or higher.
• 2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Background in golf operations and instruction is valued.
• Excellent communication and people skills; customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of golf operation in coordination with Head Golf Professional.
• Track and verify players, guests, golf cars, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges; ensure proper controls.
• Monitor reservation system and pace of play; manage scheduling and tee times.
• Develop, manage, and oversee tournament, instruction, and golfer development programs.
• Assist in training, supervising, and motivating golf operations staff to meet facility objectives.

On the job: Oversee all phases of the golf operation in conjunction with the Head Golf Professional Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate proper controls Monitor the reservation system and pace of play Develop, manage and oversee tournament, golf instruction, and golfer development programs Assist in training, supervising and motivating the golf operations staff to meet facility objectives
