Job summary

Twice is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to support daily golf operations, manage play, and assist the Director of Golf and staff with club services. The role emphasizes maintaining PGA classification, coordinating guest check-ins and fee collection, and delivering a high-quality golf experience for members and guests.

The candidate will participate in event execution, play with members, and provide club repair services, contributing to a seamless, high-volume golf operation at the club.

Qualifications

• Active classification in the PGA of America is required.
• Preferred knowledge of golf operations and tournament execution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active PGA of America classification and support daily play management with starters and outside staff.
• Operate and oversee a high-volume Golf Shop and assist with tournament operations from setup through scoring using Golf Genius.
• Play golf with members and guests, participate in the Pro-Member tournament, and provide club repair services.
• Assist with golf shop operations and oversee assets protection and day-to-day tasks.

Overview

The Assistant Golf Professional provides support with demonstrated knowledge of the game of golf and will assist with the oversight of daily golf operations. This includes managing and tracking play, protecting and controlling assets, tournament execution, private instruction, playing golf with members, and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience. This position will assist the Director of Golf and professional staff with all golf shop operations.

Essential Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, but are not limited to)

• Maintain an active classification in the PGA of America.
• Control & manage play on a daily basis; ensure guest check-in and fee collection in coordination with the starters and outside staff.
• Operate consistently in a full service, high volume Golf Shop.
• Assist with tournament operations from setup through scoring using Golf Genius program.
• Play golf with members, guests, and prospective members.
• Participate in the season long Pro-Member tournament.
• Provide club repair services.
