Copperleaf Golf Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to join our team, working closely with seasoned golf professionals to deliver a premier experience. You will supervise staff, assist with scheduling, and contribute to tournament preparations while providing top-tier customer service.

The role emphasizes instruction, strong knowledge of golf rules, and the ability to engage with members and guests in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience, including outside golf operations.
  • PGA Class A membership or Level 2-3 PGM University/Associate required.
  • College degree preferred.

  • Assist in all aspects of golf operations, including supervising, scheduling, and training starter and ranger staff.
  • Support tournament preparations, including organization, setup, and execution.
  • Provide golf instruction and coaching to members and guests to enhance their experience.
  • Foster positive relationships with club members and guests, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with other golf operations staff to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Perform duties with discretion and independent judgment, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Copperleaf Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in all aspects of golf operations, including supervising, scheduling, and training starter and ranger staff.
  • Support tournament preparations, including organization, setup, and execution.
  • Provide golf instruction and coaching to members and guests to enhance their experience.
  • Foster positive relationships with club members and guests, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with other golf operations staff to maintain smooth daily operations.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in golf operations or a related role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to supervise and train staff effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A passion for golf and providing outstanding customer service.
Additional Requirements
  • Must supervise and oversee work of interns, shop attendants, & outer operations personnel.
  • Position requires PGA Class A membership or Level 2-3 PGM University/Associate.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required, one of which is in outside golf operations.
  • College degree or working toward college degree (Preferred).
  • Proven record of quality customer service and communication skills.

  • Personal and social habits outside of the job need to reflect the responsibility of the position.
Physical/Environmental Demands

Must be able to traverse even and uneven surfaces; walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and grip. Position requires lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds. Must be able to withstand heat, humidity and direct sun environment for an extended period. Must be able to work in an environment with plants, grass and related chemicals during all seasons.
