Job summary

Bay Hills Golf Club is seeking a driven, team-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This role offers hands-on experience across all facets of the operation and advancement within a rapidly evolving club environment.

You will deliver outstanding member service, assist with daily shop operations, support tournaments, and provide instruction while upholding golf etiquette and professionalism. Candidates with PGA/PGM interest encouraged.

Qualifications

• Prior golf operations experience is a plus but not required.

Overview

Bay Hills Golf Club is seeking a driven, team-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong work ethic, a passion for the game, and a desire to grow within a rapidly evolving club environment. Since 2023, over $3 million has been reinvested into Bay Hills, reflecting our commitment to enhancing the experience for every member and guest who visits the property. The successful candidate will be highly coachable, detail-oriented, and eager to gain hands-on experience across all facets of the golf operation while consistently delivering an exceptional experience.

Experience Required

• PGA Members, Associates, PGM students, and aspiring PGA Professionals are encouraged to apply
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn and grow within the golf industry
• Prior golf operations experience is a plus, but not required

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, ensuring a welcoming and professional golf experience at all times
• Assist with daily golf shop operations, including merchandising, tee sheet management, and point-of-sale systems
• Support the execution of tournaments and events from planning through completion, including setup, staging, scoring, and breakdown
• Provide instruction through individual lessons, group clinics, and junior programming, while supporting player development initiatives
• Oversee outside operations as needed, including cart fleet management, practice facilities, and pace of play
• Enforce club policies while upholding the highest standards of golf etiquette and professionalism
• Collaborate with the professional staff to enhance the overall golf experience and improve operational efficiency
• Demonstrate flexibility and a team-first mindset by stepping into any role necessary to support daily operations
