Job summary

Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, FL, part of Troon, is hiring a full-time Assistant Golf Professional. The role involves assisting with POS, tee time systems, merchandising, and promoting golf activities while supporting staff and ensuring smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have an AA or equivalent experience, basic Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to handle payments and scheduling in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (AA) or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with computerized POS and tee time system.

Responsibilities

• Assists in administering POS revisions for green fee, merchandise, and billing; coordinates policy updates with Accounting.
• Reconciles daily tee sheets, checks in members/guests, and handles payments; tracks posts and no-shows.
• Promotes all club golf activities and maintains an organized golf shop.
• Assists retail buyer with procurement and merchandising; supports shop assistants with sales.
• Prepares for golf outings with scorecards, pairing sheets, and related materials.
• Assists with associate training and observes safe work practices.
