Responsibilities

• Serve as acting supervisor in the absence of the Course Superintendent when assigned.
• Assist with tournament preparation and special event course setup.
• Help oversee golf course construction and renovation projects.
• Maintain accurate records related to pesticide applications, irrigation activities, and maintenance operations.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and maintained properly.
• Assist with labor management, budgeting, inventory, and recordkeeping.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with Club policies, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in weekend and holiday management rotations.

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent assists in the planning, coordination, and supervision of the daily maintenance and management of Wyndemere Country Club's 27-hole championship golf facility. Working alongside the Director of Agronomy and Course Superintendent, this position provides hands‑on leadership while helping deliver exceptional playing conditions, overseeing agronomic programs, and developing a high-performing maintenance team.
