West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill, PA is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Golf Course Superintendent in maintaining tees, greens, fairways, bunkers, and surrounding areas on our 164-acre facility.

The role involves directing daily maintenance tasks, training grounds staff, managing inventory, and helping plan annual operating budgets for turf care and equipment, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Weekend mornings and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willing to obtain a state pesticide applicator license.
• Available to work weekend mornings and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance of tees, greens, fairways, bunkers, rough, and native areas.
• Assist in planning day-to-day tasks based on weather and golf schedules.
• Help train groundskeepers to be skilled and efficient.
• Supervise crew and assign daily tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe facilities within budget.
• Apply sand, fertilizers, and pesticides safely according to labels.
