Job summary

Sarasota National Club in Venice, FL is seeking a full-time Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to oversee maintenance and construction of the course, ensuring turf meets standards. This role is part of Troon Golf, a global leader in golf and community management.

As Assistant Superintendent you will manage budgets, supervise staff, coordinate putting greens, tees, fairways and hazards, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or AA in agronomy/ horticulture/ plant/ soil science
• Experience in golf course maintenance and operations preferred
• Proficiency with budgeting and cost control in a supervisory role

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and construction of the golf course to established standards.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs and bunkers.
• Manage procurement and vendor relations within budgetary limits and ensure safety compliance.
