Job summary
Big Easy Ranch is seeking a dependable and knowledgeable Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to assist in overseeing the daily maintenance and operations of the golf course. As a private members‑only sporting club, Big Easy Ranch is committed to providing members and guests with exceptional course conditions, professional service, and a first‑class golf experience.
Under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for assisting with
Qualifications
- Knowledge of golf course maintenance practices and irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of chemical application and safety procedures preferred.
- Ability to supervise, train, and manage golf course maintenance personnel.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and other areas.
- Supervise and train staff on safe operation of maintenance equipment.
- Monitor irrigation and drainage system maintenance and operations.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and communicate with management.
