Kennet Square Golf & Country Club in Kennett Square, PA is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to work closely with the Superintendent and other assistants. The role covers planning and supervising course maintenance to ensure high standards of playability and aesthetics.

The position requires a turfgrass degree with 2-3 years of experience, strong leadership, and ability to manage weekend schedules; PA pesticide license or plan to obtain within six months is required.

Qualifications

• A 2- or 4-year degree in Turfgrass Management or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in golf course maintenance.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Driver’s License and PA Pesticide Applicator’s License or the ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team at Kennett Square Golf & Country Club. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to ensure the daily maintenance and operations of the golf course are executed efficiently, ensuring the course is maintained to the highest standards.
