The Town of Gypsum is seeking an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent for Gypsum Creek Golf Course. You will assist the Superintendent in directing daily maintenance, supervise staff, and help ensure top-condition greens and fairways in a mountain setting.
You will train staff, manage irrigation, apply turf inputs, and coordinate with the Pro Shop. This role requires outdoor work in all weather and compliance with safety policies; Colorado residency is required.

Salary: Non-Exempt; $34.84 – $48.78 per hour, depending on experience

The Town of Gypsum is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team at Gypsum Creek Golf Course. Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, you will help plan, direct, and perform the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course while supervising the maintenance staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in course conditions and enjoys working outdoors in a beautiful mountain setting.
Physical Demands: Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. The employee is regularly exposed to wet conditions, fumes, dust, extreme temperatures, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend. Physical endurance is required during periods of extreme weather.
