Job summary

Pacific Beach is seeking an Assistant General/Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales, labor, and food cost targets. This role involves supervising staff, scheduling, and ensuring guest satisfaction, product quality, and safety across a fast-paced store environment.

The candidate will lead day-to-day operations, recruit and onboard team members, and coordinate with the District Manager to align staffing and promotions with company goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching and developing teams in a retail environment.
• Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to manage store operations and staff scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in achieving sales, labor, and food cost targets.
• Direct staff and ensure guest satisfaction, product quality, and safety.
• Monitor inventory, labor budgets, and cash handling procedures.
• Recruit, interview, and hire store staff; train and onboard new employees.
• Maintain dress code, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep.
• Coordinate promotions and local marketing activities with the GM.
