Job summary

Benihana - Mall of America is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, drive financial performance, and maintain a high-energy, guest-focused dining experience. You will mentor managers and hourly staff, uphold service standards, and ensure the brand’s Vibe Dining ethos is felt in every shift.

You’ll manage budgets, analyze P&L, oversee beverage program, develop marketing initiatives with the team, and foster guest engagement with VIPs and regulars.

Qualifications

• Two years of restaurant management experience or one year as a Benihana manager with good performance.
• Strong leadership, staff development, and guest-service focus.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Operations Leadership: mentor managers and staff, uphold service standards.
• Team Development & Staffing: recruit, onboard, and coach team members.
• Financial & Business Performance: monitor budgets, P&L, and costs.
