EnergiPersonnel is seeking an Assistant Glazier / Construction Helper in Midland, TX to support an experienced Journeyman on glass systems for commercial and residential projects. This role emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and learning the glazing trade.

The assistant will help with glass installation, insulation, material handling, site prep, and maintaining a safe work environment. Must be physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and working outdoors and indoors as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Capable of lifting up to 80 pounds daily.
• Physically fit for demanding manual labor and varied conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman with glass installation including storefront systems, windows, and doors.
• Move and position glass panels and materials safely.
• Hold and stabilize glass during installation.
• Assist with insulation work and general construction tasks.
• Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
• Prepare and clean work areas before and after installations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Follow safety procedures and best practices.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
• Assist with sealing, caulking, finishing, and related tasks.
• Travel to job sites as needed within the region.

Now Hiring: Assistant Glazier / Construction HelperLocation: Midland, TX Job Summary--We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Assistant Glazier / Construction Helper to support an experienced Journeyman in the installation of commercial and residential glass systems. --This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is willing to learn the glazing trade.--The Assistant Glazier will help with glass installation projects, insulation work, material handling, construction support tasks, job site preparation, and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting and handling heavy materials daily and working in various outdoor and indoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman with the installation of glass, storefront systems, windows, doors, mirrors, and related glazing products.
• Help move, transport, stage, and position glass panels and construction materials safely.
• Hold and stabilize glass during installation procedures.
• Assist with insulation work and general construction labor activities.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
• Measure, prepare, and clean work areas before and after installations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
• Assist with sealing, caulking, finishing, and other installation-related tasks.
• Travel to job sites as needed throughout the region.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Journeyman or Supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, and maneuver up to 80 pounds.
• Must be in good physical condition and capable of performing demanding manual labor daily.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn the glazing and construction trade.

• Ability to work safely in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Basic construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with glass, insulation, framing, or general construction is a plus.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in glazing, construction, insulation, or general labor.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Forklift or equipment operation experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
• Regularly assist with handling large glass panels and construction materials.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout a full work shift.
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
