Job summary

Embassy Suites Richmond is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support daily hotel operations and leadership across departments. You will lead guest services and housekeeping performance, with hands-on engagement with guests and associates to ensure consistent, elevated service.

The AGM will also support Food & Beverage during service hours, coach staff, manage staffing and labor, and drive guest satisfaction through proactive service and real-time recovery.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel leadership or supervisory experience is required or preferred at AGM/operations level.
• Strong hands-on leadership with visibility in daily operations and guest interactions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team development skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Assistant General Manager (AGM) / Assistant GM – OperationsThe Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in the overall leadership and daily operation of the hotel, working closely with department leaders to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational consistency, and strong brand standards. This role places a strong emphasis on Guest Services and Housekeeping operations, while also providing support to Food & Beverage during the hotel’s complimentary service hours.
