Job summary

Elements Massage® in Surprise, AZ is seeking an assistant studio manager to co-lead sales and operations for a Massage Therapy wellness studio. We look for someone with wellness experience and prior shop management responsibilities.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and strong communication, with duties to implement structure and processes, train staff, and help grow the studio while delivering excellent client care.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of sales experience in related field (health, wellness, gym, spa).
• 2.5 years of management experience in service, sales or retail environments.
• Strong leadership and ability to organize and lead a team.
• Ability to implement structure, policies and procedures.
• Customer service oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication; confident interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• MindBody Software experience a plus.

Assistant Studio Manager Qualifications - A great assistant manager believes in the therapeutic benefits of Massage Therapy, and has the following

• Must have at least 1 year of sales experience in related field (health, wellness, gym, spa, etc.)
• Have 2.5 years experience in management including but not limited to experience as an assistant sales manager, operations manager, and/or general manager in a service, sales or retail environment
• Has excellent leadership skills; ability to lead a team in an organized and efficient way ensuring operations runs smoothly
• Implement structure, policies, and procedures
• Customer Service oriented
• Ability to identify and problem solve, set expectation, goals, and delegate
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence
• Must be an excellent organizer and problem solver with strong project management skills
• Must be able to work flexible days and hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Competent trainer and motivator
• MindBody Software experience a plus
