Job summary

Goldfish Swim School in Moore, OK is seeking an Assistant General Manager - Sales to support the General Manager in running a welcoming, enrollment-focused swim school. You'll connect with families by phone and in person, oversee daily operations, and coach the Front Desk team to excel in sales and customer service.

This role emphasizes a people-first approach, maintaining cleanliness, managing the lead pipeline and events, and acting as Manager on Duty when needed.

Qualifications

• Natural communicator with families on the phone and in person.
• Able to learn new software with training provided.
• Organized, dependable, and proactive about follow-through.
• 2 years in customer service, sales, or team support.
• Lifeguard Certification required (if not already).
• Evening and weekend shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every member and family warmly at arrival and departure.
• Keep the facility clean and ready for customers.
• Oversee the first day swimmer process: wristbands, tours, lane walks, and follow up.
• Own daily enrollment goals — calling, texting, and following up on leads, and coach Front Desk to same standard.
• Track lead pipeline, conversion rates, and enrollment trends; share actionable insights with GM.
• Coach Front Desk staff through feedback and evaluations, including hiring recommendations.
• Plan monthly community events and build local partnerships.
• Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts, ensuring all areas run to Goldfish standard.

Job Title: Assistant General Manager - Sales

Summary:

The Assistant General Manager - Sales supports the General Manager in running a smooth, welcoming, and enrollment-driven swim school. This is a people-first role - you'll spend your days connecting with families on the phone and in person, keeping daily operations running at a high standard, and coaching the Front Desk team to excel in sales and customer service growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet every member and family warmly at arrival and departure, serving as a welcoming presence for the school.
• Keep the facility clean, organized, and always ready for customers.
• Oversee the first day swimmer process: wristbands, tours, lane walks, and follow up.
• Own daily enrollment goals — calling, texting, and following up on leads, and holding the Front Desk team accountable to
  same standard.
• Track lead pipeline, conversion rates, and enrollment trends — and bring actionable insights and recommendations to the GM,
  not just the numbers.
• Handle common objections and coach the Front Desk team to do the same with confidence.
• Coach Front Desk staff through side-by-side support, regular feedback, and formal performance evaluations — issuing
  corrective action when needed and making hiring recommendations to the GM.
• Plan monthly community events and build local partnerships.
• Serve as the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts - responsible for the full operation of the school, stepping in across aquatics, front desk, and facilities wherever the team needs support and ensuring every area is running at the Goldfish standard.

• 1-2 years in a customer service, sales, or team support role.
• Required to obtain a Lifeguard Certification through Goldfish Swim School, if not already.
• Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
