Job summary

Buc-ee's is coming to Monroe County, Georgia, opening late Summer 2027. The Assistant General Manager will lead the store team to uphold Buc-ee’s standards in the absence of the Store General Manager, ensuring a clean, friendly, and in-stock experience for every customer.

The role requires managing personnel, ensuring product quality, and promoting exceptional customer service, with an expected 48-hour work week including mornings and afternoons, most weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Degree from college or university; or 1-2 years or more related experience
• Retail or management experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prolonged walking/standing for long shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of Store General Manager in their absence
• Lead store team to maintain Buc-ee’s standards
• Recruit/train/evaluate store staff
• Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed
• Resolve customer and employee issues quickly and professionally
