MGM Resorts International at Bellagio is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Noodles to lead operations of a high-volume Pan-Asian restaurant.

You will partner with the General Manager to drive financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development, while upholding luxury service standards.

This role requires strong leadership and a track record in upscale dining environments; Mandarin/Cantonese language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in restaurant management.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred.
• Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred.
• Experience in a Luxury, Fine-Dining, or high-volume Chinese cuisine environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and marketing strategies to drive short-term profitability.
• Assist General Manager with HR responsibilities: teamwork, coaching, hiring, succession, diversity, and policy adherence.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction; manage feedback channels; coordinate kitchen and dining room service.
• Enforce policies, training, menus, and health/sanitation standards; execute F&B initiatives and programs.

Execute on the restaurant’s business plan and assist General Manager with developing and executing tactics to achieve goals and targets* Assist General Manager with managing Human Resources responsibilities for Restaurant to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning process that encompass the company’s diversity commitment; adherence to the company’s status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment law, and collective bargaining agreements* Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience. Reacts to any guest complaints and takes any appropriate action. Manages Restaurant’s guest feedback channels through approved company practices.
