The Assistant General Manager – Member Experience is a strategic and operational leader responsible for delivering a top-tier member experience while driving revenue across key departments. Reporting to the General Manager, this role focuses on elevating hospitality standards, executing impactful programs that boost engagement, retention, and profitability, and leading a multi-channel communication strategy. The AGM collaborates with food & beverage, golf, racquet, and fitness teams to ensure aligned execution, unlock growth, and foster a vibrant, member-centric club culture. Internally, this role is called Member Experience Director.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the club’s member experience strategy, including onboarding and engagement programs.
  • Partner with member committees to plan and execute member events that align with club culture and goals.
  • Create a welcoming community through personalized service and proactive communication.
  • Innovate offerings based on member feedback and industry trends.
  • Implement multi-channel communication to promote offerings and keep members informed.
  • Participate in budget planning, monitor forecasts, and drive revenue through member and guest programs.
  • Ensure collaboration across departments for seamless member experiences.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3-5+ years in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, Customer Relations, or related fields.
  • Member-first mindset with high energy, outgoing personality, and strong communication skills.
  • Experience leading teams and managing accountability.
  • Proven strategies to drive revenue, club usage, and retention.
  • Data-driven thinker with strategic initiative experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in hospitality management, business, sports management, communications, or related fields.
  • Technical literacy with Microsoft Office, CRM/Salesforce, Canva, social media platforms, and multiple systems.
