Lava Island is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations on-site across Kitchen, Park, or Events. You’ll be the on-duty leader, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, safety, and smooth service while coaching a high-energy team.

Responsibilities include training staff, driving performance, maintaining standards, and collaborating with the General Manager on events and promotions. Candidates should have ServSafe Manager Certification (or complete within 30 days),

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in fast-paced hospitality environments.
• ServSafe Manager Certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to perform hands-on tasks with the team.
• Weekend/evening/holiday availability.

Responsabilités

• Foster a Guest-Centered Culture - lead by example to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Lead, train, and coach your assigned team to achieve goals and KPIs; support park-wide operations.
• Oversee Daily Operations as the Manager on Duty, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.
• Identify and solve issues impacting guest experience, staff performance, or efficiency.
• Maintain performance benchmarks and drive team productivity and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations across all departments.
• Collaborate with the GM and other AGMs on events, promotions, and new initiatives.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support Lava Island's growth.
